Shimi-konnyaku: Recipes
Deep Fried Shimi-konnyaku 🇲🇾
Ingredients:
4 pieces of Shimi-konnyaku
1.5 tbsp of Soy sauce
1.5 tbsp of Sweet sake
1.5 tbsp of Sugar
150ml of Soup Stock / Water
1 Egg
1 cup of Flour
Bread crumbs as needed
Frying oil as needed
1. Cut de-hydrated Shimi-konnyaku to size that you prefer
2. Put the soy sauce, sweek sake and sugar into the prepared stock. If you don’g have time for stock, can replace with water
3. Boil the stock/water and put in the Shimi-konnyaku to absorb the taste
4. Leave the Shimi-konnyaku with stock aside for cooling down
5. Add egg and flour into it and mix them well
6. Take out the Simi-konnyaku and cover with bread crumbs
7. Fry it with 170-180ºC oil till golden brown
8. Serve!
